26 Oct 2009Had a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur and Adelaide on a recent holiday. Here are my top 5 things/memories about Malaysia (for me):
1. Seeing and hanging out with relatives I hadn’t seen for nearly a decade. And meeting some new family too…
2. Meeting Peter Ong for the first time. This man journeyed with Dad faithfully when he first made a commitment to Christ. Peter only made contact with my Dad this year for a long time – it’s been 35 years.
3. Food. Very cheap food. Having 5 meals on any given day. Breakfast – 2 Roti Canai (bread with curry dip) and Milk Tea costs me $1.20 AUD.
4. Shopping. The choice is enormous and bargains to be had. Always.
5. The various smells and buzz of Petaling Street, Chinatown.
Next entry – top 5 things about Adelaide. Hmm, it might be a little tougher than expected. Just joking
